This Website is Under Development. Check back soon for updates.
The West Sechelt Community Association came into existence in late 2006 to proactively
represent the interests of area citizens to District Council and staff.

We are non-political but we are strong advocates for good policy. We do not oppose
development but work hard to ensure that when projects seek approval they adhere to the
West Sechelt Community Plan and best applicable standards.

A major priority is the development of parks and beach accesses in West Sechelt. In the next
year, we will seek partners to fund and create trail and bike networks in our region.

Our low yearly dues are devoted primarily to communications with our members via periodic
newsletters and other communication activities with our members. This fall, we have begun a
Guest Speaker Program at our public meetings, which has proven most informative for
members.

Please see the
membership section of this website to see how you can join the association.
